Join the 2022 FOSDA Youth Entrepreneurship Support (YES) Program to boost your business!
Aimed at youth entrepreneurs in Ashanti and Northern Region this new programme seeks to create an enabling environment for the young people to gain an in-depth, hands-on learning experience of business management, digital marketing and branding to aid in the growth and development of their business.
This programme will equip young people with the skills necessary to improve and grow their businesses to become economically sustainable.
Training will be hosted in both physical and virtual forms in Kumasi and Tamale and consist of the following:
- 2 days physical training
- 6 weeks online sessions - 4hrs hours session a week on Zoom.
- Mentoring and coaching program
As from January 2022, we plan to train the first cohort of youth-owned businesses, with each region hosting 10 participants.

Cost
The programme is fully funded by OXFAM in Ghana and there is no cost to participate.
Selection criteria
To qualify for the YES program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Business must be in operation for 6months-2years old
- Age of entrepreneurs: 18-35 years
- Business must be 100% owned by youth
- Open to females, males and PWDs
- Entrepreneurs must reside in the Northern or Ashanti Region
- Must be willing to commit to the YES program (2 full days, 4hrs weekly for 6weeks online course followed by a mentoring program)
- Have a passion to introduce new ideas and technology in their business
- Must own a smart device, at least a mobile phone
How to apply Young entrepreneurs who would like to take part in the YES program must submit their applications online. Through our website and other social media platforms including facebook, twitter and LinkedIn. After your application is received, you will be invited to a telephonic or/and an in-person interview, which will determine if you are selected to take part in the programme.
